A shout out to NatureMed Clinic, Doctor Kelly Parcell and her amazing staff. For those of you in the know I have been suffering with Chronic Urticaria (hives) for over a year now. I spent my 20 year anniversary in Hawaii covered in itchy hives (thinking Chicken Pox has nothing on this…) Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays ruined because by the end of each day I was covered head to toe in hives.

It has affected my work, because I was afraid to show properties or meet with clients not knowing if I would start breaking out in hives or my lip would start to swell.

I went to Urgent Care 2 times. Saw an allergist, endocrinologist, my regular doctor, and a gynecologist. NOT one of them had any answers. Finally I went to see Dr. Parcell last Thursday, who BTW spent 1 1/2 hours seeing me. She read through all of the lab work and notes from each doctor. Put me on a totally different medicine that wasn’t an antihistamine. Not ONE hive since. Of course its only been 4 days since I’ve been taking the medicine….but after having hives everyday to not one hive is HUGE for me.
